Hello, my name is Viktorija. I am a mother of three children, the owner of a reactive dog, a certified dog trainer, and a student of Pet Management and Behaviour at ARU Writtle University. My life has never been easy—challenge after challenge—but that is what brought me here. A chaotic life does not mean a bad life. Chaos allows us to learn, to grow, to understand ourselves, and to become a better version of who we already are. Like many people, I once chased perfection. A perfect life. Perfect children. A perfect dog. But I learned that perfection is often just pretending. I was once just an owner desperately searching for help, trying to understand how my friendly puppy became a dog labelled as aggressive. I moved from trainer to trainer. Some told me nothing could be done. Others handled my dog with force—dragging him, growling at him—while he was already struggling. At the time, I didn’t understand how wrong that was. Because I wanted him to be perfect, I put him through experiences that caused harm instead of healing. My dog didn’t ask me to buy him. He didn’t choose me. He didn’t choose this world or the life he was placed into. I did. And when he needed me most, I failed him. That realisation changed everything. Instead of trying to fix my dog, I chose to understand him. I educated myself, completed my dog training programme, and learned to truly see who he is. Today, I know my dog, I respect him, and we continue learning together. Training is not a quick solution. Just as humans learn from nursery to school, college, and university—and continue learning all their lives—our dogs are learning every single day. Training should begin with the breeder, but it never truly ends. My dog is not perfect— but he is perfect for me. This is the heart of VB Dog Training. VB Dog Training goes beyond obedience and behaviour correction. It is not about fixing dogs or forcing them to fit into expectations. It is a safe, supportive space for dogs and their humans—where fear, frustration, confusion, and hope are allowed to exist. A space where every voice matters and every story is respected. Because dogs communicate long before they “misbehave.” Because humans carry worry, guilt, and love when they are trying their best and don’t know what else to do. If you’re feeling lost with your dog, you don’t have to face it alone. I don’t believe in creating show dogs that struggle silently. I believe in understanding behaviour, building relationships, and helping dogs and humans live together with compassion, respect, and honesty. Dogs will give their whole heart for you—just let them believe that they can trust you and that you are there for them. Because perfection is not obedience. Perfection is understanding.
